In term 2 we planted some vegetables in the garden behind Room 2. On Tuesday we got to taste our sugar snap peas. Below are some of our stories we wrote about them. These children have used some great similies in their writing as well as some fantastic describing words. Sharon.
We went to Room 2 to see our sugar snap peas. We picked the sugar snap peas. They are like a banana shape. They taste like a bean. It felt like soft teddy bears. By Nicole.
The peas tasted like sweet peas. The peas tasted delicious. When we went to go and pick the peas it felt like skin. It felt very lumpy. The peas look like a green jelly bean. By Chrissie.
Yesterday we went to Room 2. We went to pick some sugar snap peas. It tasted like lettuce. It looked like a moustache. It felt like an elephants tail because it felt all sweaty. We had to peel the outside because we had to eat the peas that were inside the pod. By Emma.

Mr Cricket comes to RBS to visit
On Thursday 5th August Mr Cricket came to visit. He showed us how to cup our hands to catch a ball. We had relay races then got into two teams and played a game of cricket. Our score was 40 all.
